Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrival: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
- Rest: Spend the day resting and preparing for your upcoming climb.
Day 2: Arusha to Londorossi Gate (2,100m) to Mti Mkubwa (2,750m)
- Travel: After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate for registration and then drive further to the starting point of the trek.
- Trek: Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp.
- Overnight: Camp at Mti Mkubwa.
Day 3: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)
- Trek: Ascend through the forest and into the heath zone, where you’ll reach the Shira Plateau, with views of Kibo Peak.
- Overnight: Camp at Shira 1 Camp.
Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,850m)

- Trek: Ascend to Barafu Camp, the base camp for the final summit push.

Day 8: Summit Day – Barafu to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) & Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100m)
- Summit: Start the climb at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the summit of Africa.
- Descent: Descend to Barafu for a short rest, then continue down to Mweka Camp.
- Overnight: Camp at Mweka Camp.
Day 9: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640m) & Return to Arusha
- Trek: A gentle descent through the rainforest to Mweka Gate.
- Celebration: Receive your summit certificates and transfer back to Arusha for a well-deserved rest.
- Overnight: Hotel in Arusha.
Day 10: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Safari: Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive in the park.
- Overnight: Lodge or camp near Tarangire.
Day 11: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
- Safari: Drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti.
- Overnight: Lodge or camp in the Serengeti.
Day 12: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
